Are you between 18 and 39 and do you need help to start your own business?

Futurpreneur is a national non-profit organization that look at character, not collateral, when providing financial support and coaching to young entrepreneurs age 18 to 39 to start-up and sustain successful their business.

Only profit-oriented businesses and cooperatives are eligible: start-up, acquisition et relief

For whom is it?
You must be between 18 and 39 years old
- All the shareholders/partners between 18 and 39 years old must register and subscribe to the program
- You must demonstrate the viability of the project with the help of a complete business plan
- Your business must be in operation for less than 12 months
- You must have previous experience or a relevant training
- You must agree to work with a mentor for 2 years
- You must create a full time job for yourself

What is it?
The aid granted is as follows:
For age 18 to 34
- Loan up to $15,000 (refundable in 5 years)  + BDC loan up to $30,000
- Prime rate + 3%
- Moratorium on the capital during the first year
- The young entrepreneur must personally guarantee the loan
No penalty for early re-payment for Futurpreneur  (BDC = once a year, 15% of the principal outstanding  or  3 months’ interest on the principal)
For age 35 to 39
- BDC loan up to $45,000

Other important information
- Decision making and follow-up done by Futurpreneur
- Futurpreneur charges fees of $50 for loan acceptance and $15 per month (administration fees)
